I plan to use the JULES land surface model model to predict the consequences of different scenarios of palm oil growth in Malaysia and Indonesia in terms of hydroresources and carbon stock management.

The first step in this will be to add a Plant Functional Type (PFT) for oil palm to the JULES model.
